Recently renovated in 2026, the house features a fully equipped kitchen with separate pantry, a dedicated dining room, high-speed WiFi, and a private covered courtyard with a hot tub. The cosy living room features an L-shaped sofa, large TV and wood-burning stove - perfect for relaxed evenings after a day exploring. There is also private parking for two cars and an EV charger.

The house offers direct access to walking and cycling routes, with Saffron Walden just a short walk away for cafés, independent shops and its well-loved twice-weekly market.

Lion House sleeps up to eight guests across four bedrooms, all located on the top floor of the property.

The layout is designed with flexibility in mind - two of the king size double beds can be configured as twins, making the house equally well suited to families or groups of friends. The principal bedroom also features an adjoining room with a spacious bunk bed, ideal for children or additional guests.

Each bedroom is comfortable and thoughtfully styled.

The house includes two bathrooms, designed to comfortably accommodate group stays.

The main bathroom upstairs is spacious and features both a bath and separate shower, offering flexibility for families. There is also a separate WC on the ground floor for added convenience.

Both bathrooms are newly fitted as part of the 2026 renovation.

Lion House benefits from a private covered courtyard, creating a secluded outdoor space to relax and unwind.

Here you’ll find a large hot tub - perfect for evenings under the stars - along with comfortable outdoor seating. To the front of the house, there is also an enclosed area with outdoor dining furniture, offering additional space for meals and relaxing.

Both areas feel peaceful and tucked away, while still being moments from the surrounding parkland and local attractions.
